The Renewable Fuels Association is pleased to announce the addition of BKV Corporation to its esteemed roster of associate members. This partnership underscores RFA's commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and its dedication to supporting the growth of the renewable fuels industry.

“RFA is proud to welcome BKV Corporation to our membership and we look forward to working together to pursue net-zero emissions throughout the renewable fuel supply chain. As a major user of natural gas, the ethanol industry is keenly interested in new methods and technologies for reducing the carbon intensity of natural gas production and use,” said RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper. “BKV’s focus on continuous improvement, optimization, and innovative CCUS technologies makes the company a perfect fit for the RFA.”

BKV, a forward-thinking, growth-driven energy company established in 2015, focuses on natural gas production and aims for net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, for their owned and operated upstream and midstream operations by the early 2030s. With a strategy encompassing natural gas production, midstream operations, power generation, and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS), BKV maintains a “closed-loop” approach to meet its emissions goals. The company launched its first CCUS project, Barnett Zero, in November 2023, and is actively pursuing numerous additional potential CCUS projects. As a leading natural gas producer in the U.S. and the top producer in the Barnett Shale, BKV's innovative business model, commitment to net zero emissions, experienced management, and technological proficiency, position it to enhance stockholder value. BKV Corporation serves as the parent company for the BKV family of companies. For further details, please visit www.bkv.com.

“Achieving our net zero goals requires bold action and a relentless commitment to innovation. Embracing CCUS is not just a commitment to sustainability; it’s smart business,” said Matt Johnson, Managing Director of BKV’s dCarbon Ventures. “We are excited to be members of the Renewable Fuels Association, joining other companies with a similar passion and drive to pursuing a sustainable energy future.”
