The Renewable Fuels Association’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) was formed in July 2020 and is dedicated to bringing together innovative and dedicated young professionals from across the U.S. ethanol industry. The YPN is a community of young leaders with a common goal to advance their respective businesses forward, build new relationships, and work with one another to identify new opportunities that grow and strengthen the renewable fuels industry.
The YPN hosts events year-round that are exclusively for YPN members and focus on networking, leadership, improving operations, and finding new and innovative approaches to building the market for ethanol. Check out our YPN Leadership Series.
Scholarships: YPN members have a unique opportunity to benefit from industry scholarships designed to advance their knowledge and networks within the ethanol industry. The Renewable Fuels Foundation provides scholarships to YPN members to attend the annual National Ethanol Conference. Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits, the main sponsor of YPN, has provided scholarships to attend its annual Biofuels Academy. Information on these opportunities is communicated to YPN members when available.
Want to learn more? Attend an upcoming event or email YPN Chairperson Justin Schultz for more information.
We’re currently in the process of gathering speakers for upcoming webinars that will feature industry leaders and subject matter experts. If your company is interested in contributing to the professional development of the YPN, please contact Justin to learn more.
Membership is open to any young professional who is 39 years old or younger, employed by a company in the U.S. ethanol industry or stakeholder industries, and based in the U.S. Members should also be interested in RFA’s mission to drive demand for American-made renewable fuels and bioproducts worldwide.
Membership is free and applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
