RFA, Pinnacle Engineering Hosting Webinar Series on Hazards of Combustible Dust

April 13, 2018

WASHINGTON — The Renewable Fuels Foundation, the education and research arm of the Renewable Fuels Association, has teamed up with the experts at Pinnacle Engineering, Inc. to host two webinars—beginning next week—on educating facility personnel about the hazards of combustible dust. Renewable fuel facilities that process and store bulk products, such as grain--a known combustible dust hazard--are subject to minimum standards to mitigate the risks of fire and explosions. Unlike regulatory standards, these standards are enforced by variety of different entities and by a variety of mechanisms. This two-part webinar series will provide an educational opportunity to industry stakeholders on applicability, hazards, training, changes to industry standards, and enforcement mechanisms related to combustible dust. The webinar dates are as follows: April 18 – Combustible Dust Overview webinar May 16 – Combustible Dust Standards and Details webinar Time: 11am-12pm CT. Space is limited. Register with Missy Ruff at [email protected]. The webinar series is free for RFA members and $100 per session for non-members. To learn more, click here.
