Mike Jerke is the president and CEO of Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy, LLC in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He has spent the last 20 years in the ethanol industry in similar executive roles for businesses in Iowa and Minnesota. Prior to that, he worked for various commodity-based entities as a merchandiser and facility manager in Illinois and Iowa. Mr. Jerke currently serves as president of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association and is a past board member of the Minnesota Biofuels Association.
Mr. Jerke graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Business Management.
