The Renewable Fuels Association is proud to announce that Nexus PMG, Avalon International Corp., and Energy Integration Inc. have joined as the association’s newest associate members.
“Ethanol’s critical role in the energy transition continues to attract new companies to RFA’s membership. Innovative businesses and cutting-edge technology providers from across the bioenergy industry continue to rally around our members’ pledge to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper. “We welcome Nexus PMG, Avalon, and Energy Integration to the RFA family, and we look forward to pursuing our goals together.”
Nexus PMG focuses on providing world-class advisory services to infrastructure investors by delivering technical, operational and financial diligence on projects that reduce carbon intensity and enhance resource efficiency.
“Nexus PMG is thrilled to join the RFA and is looking forward to being a valuable contributor to the association,” said Chris Hart, President of Nexus PMG’s Principal Investment Group. “With the recent closing of our capital raise, we are accelerating our development, investment, and services activity across many of the biofuel subsectors. We believe the fuel ethanol industry has tremendous potential in the energy transition space and we are excited for the opportunity to work with producers to execute on their vision for net-zero carbon emissions.”
Avalon International Corp. is a clean-energy project developer focusing on CO2 sequestration from industrial emitters. It is currently developing clean ethanol and H2 production projects across the USA.
“Avalon International Corporation is proud to announce that it is joining the Renewable Fuels Association,” said Chief Operational Officer Miguel Silva. “Avalon is committed to the net-zero goal by 2050 and for this is using all its experience in energy transition projects—including CO2 capture and sequestration and H2 generation—to help in the decarbonizing efforts of the ethanol industry and the RFA members.”
Energy Integration Inc. was created to revolutionize biofuel production with hyper-efficient, electrified, energy-recovery systems that reduce energy usage and carbon intensity while saving facilities money. Its designs can retrofit existing facilities with minimal disruption to operations, and are already commercially proven in the field, including at Europe’s largest biorefinery.
“We are happy to be joining the Renewable Fuels Association,” said Energy Integration CEO Bill Schafer. “RFA’s events have been an important part of our keeping abreast of important issues affecting the biofuels industry as well as an opportunity to build a sense of the state of the industry and its perspective on our future. The change underway in the evolving energy transition requires active participation in discussions with customers, legislators, and vendors. Understanding their perspectives and delivering our story will assure our place in our country’s, and the world’s. energy future. RFA will play an important role in helping define and deliver our story and establish our value.”
