Early Bird Registration for Export Exchange 2016 Closes Friday

WASHINGTON — Attendees for this year's Export Exchange have less than a week to take advantage of early registration, which ends this Friday, Aug. 5. Held every other year by the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), Export Exchange brings together international buyers and U.S. sellers of distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), as well as other feed grain products. The 2016 event, scheduled for Oct. 24–26 in Detroit, is expected to attract nearly 500 attendees, including 200 from 30 countries participating as part of USGC trade teams. As recently announced, the Export Exchange's keynote speaker this year will be Christopher W. Nolan Sr., managing director and co-head of food, beverage and agribusiness coverage at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance LLC. Other confirmed speakers include Nancy DeVore, president of DHF Team; Dr. Jerry Shurson, professor of swine nutrition at the University of Minnesota; Kyle Tapley, senior agricultural meteorologist at Minnesota Department of Agriculture's Information Systems; and Paul Hishmeh, director of data and technology at Field to Market. Additional speakers will include Bob Dinneen, RFA's president and CEO, speaking on the impact of the U.S. political environment on trade, and Ken Eriksen of Informa Economics on the topic of grain transportation.
