Maddie Jenks

Director, Regulatory Affairs

Maddie Jenks serves as Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Renewable Fuels Association, where she helps develop and implement regulatory strategies supporting the association’s policy efforts. She monitors and analyzes federal and state regulatory developments and works with RFA members, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to advance policies supporting the ethanol and renewable fuels industry.

 

Prior to joining RFA, Maddie spent nearly four years with Pilot Company, where she managed a portfolio of federal and state energy policy issues affecting the transportation fuels and travel center industries. In this role, she developed advocacy strategies, analyzed legislative and regulatory proposals, coordinated engagement with trade associations and industry partners, and advised company leadership on policies related to renewable fuels, transportation energy, tax incentives, and infrastructure.

 

Maddie earned a Master of Public Policy and Public Administration from the University of Tennessee’s Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Tennessee, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. During her undergraduate studies, she interned in the Washington, D.C., offices of two members of Tennessee’s congressional delegation.
