Mikayla McKenna became the communications manager of the Renewable Fuels Association in May 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications and International Agriculture from Iowa State University and a Master of Science degree in International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University.
Mikayla grew up on her family’s corn and soybean operation - JNJ Farms - located in Hudson, Iowa, which is where her passion for the corn and ethanol industry began. Her diverse agriculture experiences include interning for the Iowa Corn Growers Association, the American Feed Industry Association, in the United States Senate for Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, and with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.
